At Proclamation Church, we believe that the Bible is for everyone. We teach the Bible as the true story that changes lives. Bible studies are designed to be active and communal learning environments where people can grow in their knowledge and love of God as they build a weekly habit of studying Scripture. Men and women meet separately throughout the week to build relationships, study the Bible, and encourage one another to know and love Jesus more.
FAQ
How much "homework" is involved?
You can expect to do 1-2 hours of homework a week.
Will I get to know people?
Yes! We believe discipleship is best in community. You will meet with the same people at the same table every week before gathering with everyone for a large group teaching time.
What if I've never done a Bible Study before?
That's okay! You're not alone; there are other people attending who have also never done a Bible Study before. We are so excited that you want to learn more about God and Scripture. Please mark on your registration that this is your first time doing a Bible Study, and we will connect with you and give you extra support along the way!
What if I miss a week?
We understand that life happens - work, sick kids, or vacations. We would love for you to prioritize this time and strive to attend every week, but if you must miss, just send your table leader a text to let them know! Keep working through your study in the meantime. (At this time, we will not have recordings of past teaching sessions, but we hope to in the future).
